Health & Wellbeing Officer


The role of Health & Wellbeing Officer provides an exciting opportunity to support the development and implementation of initiatives to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of residents in the Epping Forest district. The Council is seeking a passionate, dynamic and self-motivated individual to be part of its innovative Health, Wellbeing & Grants Team.

You will be responsible for a variety of health and wellbeing projects across all age ranges including the delivery of school holiday activity programmes. You will have experience of developing, planning and leading on activities and events, and of working in partnership with a range of agencies.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, be flexible and highly organised and a good team player. Experience of monitoring and evaluating the success of projects is desirable, as is a proven track record of securing external funding.
